Former Montverde Academy standout Marisol Gonzalez played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Montverde Academy standout Marisol Gonzalez’s current collegiate team the Emory Eagles won 2-1 against the Berry Vikings in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Lucinda Samford Cannon Softball Field at 4:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Berry Vikings in the tournament.

The Emory Eagles’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 3 p.m. at Lucinda Samford Cannon Softball Field.
