Daniel Webster, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 11th district since 2011, recently posted a series of messages on his official X (formerly Twitter) account addressing his priorities and expressing gratitude for public service.

On January 9, 2026, Webster acknowledged National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day by posting: “This National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we thank the men and women who serve on the front lines to keep our nation safe. Each day, these brave men and women put themselves in harm’s way to uphold the rule of law and protect our communities. I am especially grateful for https://t.co/OWWLQ79zsP”.

Later that same day, he emphasized his commitment to constituent services: “Serving my constituents is my top priority. Working on behalf of constituents, my staff and I work diligently to answer questions, find solutions, or simply cut through the red tape of the federal government. Webster has served in Congress since succeeding Alan Grayson in 2011. Prior to his tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives, he was a member of both the Florida House of Representatives from 1980 to 1998 and the Florida Senate from 1998 to 2008. Born in Charleston, West Virginia in 1949 and currently residing in Clermont, Webster holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.
