Daniel Webster, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 11th district since 2011, has recently highlighted the impact of new tax legislation on Florida families in a series of posts on his social media account.

On April 14, 2026, Webster wrote, “Tomorrow is Tax Day, and thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts I voted to pass, the average Florida taxpayer will see a tax cut of over $5,000. From lower taxes and increased deductions for families and seniors, to No Tax on Tips or Overtime, Republicans are delivering real”.

The following day, he reiterated these points by stating, “Today is Tax Day – and thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts I voted to pass and @POTUS signed into law, millions of hardworking Floridians are keeping more of their hard-earned money. From permanently expanding the Child Tax Credit and creating Trump Accounts, to providing”.

On April 16, Webster posted about the potential long-term benefits for children: “Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, Trump Accounts will give millions of American children a real opportunity at the American Dream. From the day a child is born and throughout their childhood, families and employers can invest in their future and put the next generation of”.

Webster has served as Florida’s 11th District representative since succeeding Alan Grayson in 2011. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in both chambers of Florida’s legislature—from 1980 to 1998 in the House and from 1998 to 2008 in the Senate. Born in Charleston, West Virginia in 1949, Webster resides in Clermont and holds a degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.
