Daniel Webster, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 11th district, recently posted several messages on his Twitter account reflecting on veterans’ issues, legislative achievements, and historical remembrance.

On July 25, 2025, Webster marked National Hire a Veteran Day by stating, “We owe our nation’s veterans a debt we can never repay. This National Hire a Veteran Day, we must ensure that the honor and distinction with which our veterans protect our freedoms is never taken for granted and that their skills do not go unnoticed upon returning to civilian”.

Later that day, he commented on recent discussions at the White House: “It was great to be at the White House this week chatting with President Trump’s team about all we’ve accomplished working together, including supporting the One Big Beautiful Bill to secure historic tax cuts for American families. I look forward to continuing my work to advance”.

On July 27, 2025, Webster reflected on the anniversary of the Korean Armistice Agreement: “On this day in 1953, the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed, bringing an end to three years of war on the Korean Peninsula. Often referred to as “The Forgotten War,” we must never forget the brave Americans who fought against communism and defended the cause of freedom. Please”.

Webster has served in Congress since 2011 after replacing Alan Grayson and previously held seats in both chambers of Florida’s legislature. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia in 1949 and currently resides in Clermont. Webster earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1971.
