Today, Florida Congressman Daniel Webster released a statement emphasizing the achievements of President Trump’s first 100 days in office, asserting that Trump delivered on his commitment to prioritize America’s interests.
“In just 100 days, President Trump has delivered real results for the American people, fulfilling his promise to put America First,” said Rep. Webster. He further commented that President Trump’s leadership is reinforcing national strength and security. Webster and his Republican colleagues in the House are committed to advancing the agenda set by the President, with plans to pass legislation that boosts American energy, solidifies tax cuts, and invigorates economic growth.
Key accomplishments of President Trump’s initial period in office include initiatives aimed at securing borders, rebuilding the economy, enhancing American energy, reducing waste, and restoring stated government norms.
In terms of border security, construction of the border wall has been resumed, and over 100,000 illegal aliens have been deported. Since March 2024, illegal border crossings have reportedly decreased by 94%. The President reinstated the Remain in Mexico policy and ended the catch and release approach.
Regarding economic development, March saw the addition of 228,000 jobs, with 10,000 new manufacturing jobs emerging in the President’s first full month. Inflation rates have reportedly dropped to 2.8%, the lowest in recent years.
On the energy front, gas prices have decreased by 6.3% since Trump took office. The administration has ended the Green New Deal and the associated electric vehicle mandates, and reversed previous bans on natural gas exports.
In efforts to minimize government expenditure, the newly established Department of Government Efficiency has identified $160 billion in savings, while steps have been taken to reduce federal bureaucracy and end the use of federal regulations that allegedly violate constitutional rights.
Finally, the Trump administration has taken measures to restore what Rep. Webster describes as common sense in government operations. This includes policies aimed at protecting women’s sports, ending diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as transgender policy mandates within federal agencies and the military, affirming traditional gender norms, and curtailing perceived censorship and bias within federal entities.
