On Saturday, March 22, former Montverde Academy Inc. standout Cori Allen’s current collegiate team the Illinois Fighting Illini won 66-57 against the Creighton Bluejays in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Moody Center, this was the first game against the Creighton Bluejays during the championship.
The Illinois Fighting Illini’s next game will take place on Monday, March 24 at 1 p.m. in Moody Center against Texas Longhorns.
Cori Allen’s hometown is Nashville and game position is guard.
