On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Montverde Academy standout Angel Lopez’s current college team, the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UMass Minutemen.
The game took place at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Minutemen this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Ballpark against Indiana State Sycamores.
